The Golden shrimp plant is a tropical plant known for its highly visible yellow bracts which surround small white flowers. Like the porcelain rose, the most noticeable colorful parts are bracts, not the true flowers.
This plant thrives in warmth, humidity, and rich soils. Its compact habit and almost continuous flowering make it a popular choice for tropical flowerbeds. It also attracts many pollinators with its nectar. It can be seen in the pollinator zone, after the Jade Vine.
